You can connect your store easily in two ways:
  1. Gmail Sidebar: Open any customer email in Gmail, click the vertical green g icon to expand the sidebar, input your permanent your-shop.myshopify.com store domain, and click Authorize Connection. Approve scopes inside the secure Shopify popup.
  2. Portal Dashboard: Sign in to your account at giihelpdesk.com, scroll down to the **Shopify Integration** card, input your domain, and complete the installation handshake.

No. We implement a strict **Zero-Content-Storage architecture**. Your customer's email content, billing records, credit cards, and store secrets are never saved in our database. Email packets are read directly in-memory and analyzed in real-time. Only minimal transactional metadata (like timestamp and response type) is recorded to manage your usage limits.

Google requires authorization to connect with your inbox safely:
  • gmail.addons.current.message.readonly allows the AI assistant to read the active email to identify user intents (such as WISMO queries).
  • script.external_request connects the Add-on securely to our backend and Shopify API.
  • gmail.compose enables inserting drafting reply texts into your Gmail so you can review them prior to sending.

Subscriptions are managed securely via your Shopify Merchant Admin under Settings -> Billing -> App Subscriptions. Refund requests can be emailed to support@giihelpdesk.com within 14 days of purchase and we will review your request immediately under Shopify Merchant Billing guidelines.

Currently, each merchant user session is mapped to a single active Shopify store. If you manage multiple independent Shopify domains, you must establish separate merchant accounts at our portal to configure their keys and link their inbox assistants.
